Land settlements, 1846 to 1858
Haji Badi‘, son of ‘Ali Muhammad, had assigned Aqa Hasan as the executor of his will. He asked Aqa Hasan to sell a piece of property that he had purchased to pay back his debts and to use the rest for other expenses, such as hiring people to pray and fast on his behalf. On March 20, 1846, after Haji Badi‘'s death, Aqa Hasan sold this property to Haji Mirza Muhammad Husayn, the guardian of the deceased's underage children, for forty tumans and five thousand dinars. Prior to this, Baygum Jan Khanum had settled with her two sons, Haji Sayyid Muhammad and Haji Sayyid Abu al-Qasim, over her share of inheritance from her late husband, Haji Mir Kazim, and also over her share of inheritance from Haji Mir Hasan. Sayyid Yahya Adib al-Shu‘ara’ to ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma, 1890
Haji Sayyid Yahya Adib al-Shu‘ara’ (from Tabriz)'s petition discusses the pension of Mulla Yahya and ʻAbd Allah Bayg, the hardships the author went through during his pilgrimage to Mecca, and the delay in paying one-third of Mulla Yahya's belongings to his inheritors. This delay was caused by the heir of Haji Muhammad Baqir who is the Kadkhuda (village chief) of a village, which is owned by Surur al-Saltanah. ʻAlaviyah Khanum Kirmani's travel journal. ʻAlaviyah Khanum, ʻAli Khan and a few others went on Hajj and made pilgrimages to the shrines in Iraq. On the way back to Iran, she visited a number of cities including Tehran and the Nasiri Court. This travel journal was written by ʻAlaviyah Khanum Kirmani. On the first page of the book (this page was written by ʻAli Khan at the request of ʻAlaviyah Khanum), ʻAlaviyah Khanum noted that she wrote this book because she missed her husband and also to record these events in history.
